Update 2025-03-12: According to the latest reports, the West Palatinate (Rhineland-Palatinate) will be on strike on Wednesday (12 March), meaning that there will be no buses in Kaiserslautern and Pirmasens. The three-day public transport strike will also continue in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Offenbach (Hesse). At the same time, employees in Kassel (Hesse) plan to demonstrate from 8:30 am (local time). Up to and including Thursday (13 March), all journeys on the nine subway and ten streetcar lines in Frankfurt will be cancelled. According to ver.di, around half of the bus drivers in Offenbach (Hesse) are on strike and bus services in Wiesbaden (Hesse) are at a standstill.
