Update 2022-03-31: Due to several attacks on travellers as well as the ongoing military operation in the Casamance region, the FCDO advises against all non-essential travel to Senegal’s border with The Gambia on Thursday (31 March). This includes travel along the N4 and N5 highways between The Gambia and Ziguinchor.
