Similarly, authorities in Kharkiv reported one civilian killed and one injured by ammunition shrapnel. Furthermore, the OSCE reported that four of its staff members were arrested by Russian military forces in areas controlled by pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. The Vienna-based association called for the immediate release of its staff on Sunday (local time).
Update 2022-04-24 (3): According to Ukrainian military reports on Sunday (24 April), the Ukrainian army was able to regain control over eight villages in Kherson oblast in southern Ukraine and push back Russian combat units from the village of Kyselivka.
Update 2022-04-24 (2): According to media reports, rocket attacks by Russian forces on Sunday night (23/24 April, local time) also affected Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv. According to Russian data, a total of 423 missiles were fired at military positions. Ukrainian authorities in Dnipropetrovsk reported at least one death.
Update 2022-04-24 (1): According to media reports, Russian troops continued their attacks on the last Ukrainian positions in Mariupol on Sunday night (23/24 April, local time). As part of the renewed offensive, the port city of Odessa was also attacked with several missiles, reportedly killing eight people.
