Update 2022-04-26 (3): According to Ukrainian sources at least nine civilians were killed in Russian attacks in southern and eastern Ukraine. At least three were killed and seven others injured in the north-eastern city of Kharkiv. Additionally, three others were killed in the eastern town of Popasna in the Lugansk Oblast. Lastly, two people were killed and six others injured in the eastern Donetsk Oblast.
Update 2022-04-26 (2): According to current media reports, there is heavy fighting in Isjum. Russian combat units are said to be advancing on the city from Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. In addition, Ukrainian troops in Zaporizhzhya were preparing for a potential attack. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military reported successes. In the Kherson region, a Russian ammunition depot was destroyed and at least 70 Russian soldiers were killed. In the east, the steelworks in Mariupol is still under fire. Russian air reconnaissance has also suffered losses in Odessa. In the regions of Luhansk and Donetsk, six Russian attacks were repelled. The Russian army lost four tanks as well as artillery systems and vehicles.
Update 2022-04-26 (1): Media reported on Tuesday (26 April) that several deaths were reported in the city of Kharkiv. A high-rise building had also caught fire. Shelling was also reported in the Sumy region. The village of Bilopillja was reportedly shelled from Russian territory. In the Kherson region, Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defence lines. However, this attempt was unsuccessful. Meanwhile, in Kriwij Rih, the shelling is said to have intensified.
