Update 2022-06-14 (2): According to Ukrainian reports, Russian units have carried out assault attacks near Rubishne in the Kharkiv region and near Solote in the Luhansk region. Heavy artillery fire by Russian units is reported on almost all frontline sections in the south and east on Tuesday (14 June). The escape corridor for civilians from the Azov chemical plant in Sjewjerodonezk is reported to lead to the town of Swatowe.
Update 2022-06-14 (1): According to reports on Tuesday (14 June), Russian troops are currently advancing along the European route E40 towards Bakhmut. The town itself is already being shelled with artillery. It is also suspected that an offensive on the city of Slowiansk is currently being prepared. Russian troops are presumably planning to advance from Lyman to Raihorodok and from Yampil’ to Siversk.
Meanwhile, the fighting around the city of Sievierodonetsk continues. Heavy fighting is reported around the Azot chemical plant in particular. The third and last bridge connecting the city with the other bank of the river Siverskyi Donets was destroyed. On Wednesday (15 June), Russian military officials plan to allow the evacuation of trapped civilians from the area.
In addition, surrounding villages were evacuated after the shelling of the village of Pryluky on Monday (13 June). The target of the attacks was a weapons depot. Weapons depots were also shelled in Donetsk and Luhansk.
