Update 2022-08-19: According to the sources of Friday (19 August), the rain in Nelson has stopped but the emergency situation in the province still exists. Another round of showers is expected later on Friday (19 August). Several hundreds of houses have been evacuated so far, with roads near the area closed. Power outage is also being reported.
