2022-08-22: As per the reports, the Tropical depression will enter Hong Kong with a maximum wind speed of 93 kmph to 102 kmph within 800 kilometres between Wednesday (24 August) and Thursday (25 August).
Heavy rainfalls are to be expected beforehand, which may cause floods, flash floods and landslides. Due to high winds, storm damage is possible in the areas directly affected by the tropical storm. (Air-)Traffic disruptions are to be expected. Travellers are advised to exercise elevated caution near mountainsides and rivers.
