2022-11-08: According to the sources, one Daesh militant was killed and several others were injured on Monday (7 November) following an encounter during an operation by the security forces in the Ghazia area of Jamrud Sub-division in Khyber District under the Peshawar Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. Reportedly, one army personnel was killed, while another was wounded during the operation.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Armed clashes are possible during arrests of terror suspects. Travellers are advised to exercise high caution, to strictly avoid operations of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
