2022-11-08: According to the sources, dozens of people sustained injuries on Monday (7 November) at around 12 pm (local time) following a clash that broke out between the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) activists and security officials during a rally on the occasion of Revolution and Solidarity Day in front of the party office on Station Road in Kishoreganj city under Kishoreganj District, Dhaka Division. The pelting of stones, firing of gunshots, and lathi charges were reported.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Violent clashes between protesters and security forces are possible. Travellers are advised to exercise caution, to strictly avoid demonstrations, road blockades, large gatherings, and deployments of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
