Update 2022-11-07: According to reports from Monday (7 November), over 55% of the flights scheduled to depart from Brussels Airport on Wednesday (9 November) have been cancelled ahead of the general strike planned for Wednesday. This amounts to approximately 200 flights. Travellers are being asked to only fly with carry-on luggage if possible due to anticipated understaffing. Additionally, De Lijn and STIB, the public transport operators in Flanders and Brussels, and SNCB, the national railway operator, have all announced that services will be significantly limited on Wednesday (9 November) due to the strike.
