Update 2023-02-01: According to the sources, the flood water reached the danger level in Mount Roskill on Tuesday (31 January), resulting in a section of roadways being closed for an indefinite period and further evacuations continuing. Material damages were also reported following the destruction caused by the harsh weather. Reportedly, due to heavy rain on Tuesday night (31 January, local time) and Wednesday Morning (1 February, local time), material damages to a large extent were also reported in Auckland.
