Update 2024-02-19: According to sources from Monday (19 February), the Arakan Army (AA) reported that the military relocated forces from two hilltop outposts in Myebon Township, thereby destroying military installations during the move. Hundreds of troops surrendered the town of Laukkai in Shan State to the Three Brotherhood Alliance, following extensive conflict that resulted in significant territorial losses for the military. Apart from that, the military is reportedly escalating its assaults on civilians in southern Rakhine, especially in Ramree, where homes have been destroyed through shelling and airstrikes.
