2024-05-16: Violent clashes between security officials and protestors was reported on Wednesday (15 May) during a pro-Palestinian march to the Israeli embassy in the capital city Athens. Reportedly, the protesters hurled stones at security officials and in response, security officials fired tear gas to disperse the crowd. Several people were detained during these brief clashes.
