Update 2024-10-07 (3): An attack by Lebanese forces was reported on Monday (7 October) targeted an Israeli military intelligence base near Tel Aviv. Moreover, the northern Israeli towns of Rosh HaNikra, Shlomi, Hanita, and Arab al-Aramshe will be declared as closed military zones as of 10 pm (local time) today, following a situational assessment. However, it is not permitted to enter this location. However, entry to this area is prohibited. Additionally, in response to the rockets fired from Lebanon, sirens were activated in the central Israeli regions of Sharon and Gush Dan on Monday evening (7 October, local time).
Update 2024-10-07 (2): According to reports, Hezbollah militants launched over 130 projectiles into Israel on Monday (7 October). Air raid sirens have been going off across northern Israel as a result. One of the targets of the airstrikes was Haifa. No casualties or damage have yet been reported.
