Update 2024-10-21 (3): On Monday (21 October), several soldiers were injured after the Unifil blue helmet came under fire from Israeli strikes several times during recent clashes between Israeli armed forces and Hezbollah. A watch tower was damaged. On Monday (21 October), the Israeli military struck hundreds of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, expanding their air campaign. Among the targets was an underground bunker. Reportedly, more Israeli strikes will be conducted on Monday (21 October), targeting the financial network in Dahieh south of Beirut.
Update 2024-10-21 (2): According to reports, at least six people were killed and eight others injured in a drone attack in Baalbek on Monday (21 October). Lebanese reports also stated that Israeli forces blew up a number of houses in Ayta ash Shab on Monday (21 October). Heavy clashes were also reported in the area and Israeli tanks were positioned on the outskirts of the village.
Update 2024-10-21 (1): Following an evacuation order, the Israeli forces launched a series of airstrikes on Sunday night (20 October, local time) on the southern suburbs of Beirut and targeted other buildings associated with Hezbollah near the Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY). Additionally, the Israeli forces also attacked a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) post and destroyed an observation tower and the fence of a UNIFIL post in Marwahin.
