2024-12-09: On Monday (9 December), the Chinese military announced restrictions for the airspace east of the Chinese mainland off the coast of Fujian and Zhejiang. It is still unclear whether this measure will lead to major restrictions on air traffic. The restrictions will apply until at least Wednesday (11 December).
Further restrictions on air travel are possible. Passengers travelling to the affected provinces should check with their airline or tour operator about the possible impact on their trip.
