Update 2025-01-07: On Tuesday (7 January) at around 09:05 (local time), a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck near Shigatse, Tibet, with an epicenter depth of 10 km, damaging buildings in Lhatse. Crumbled shopfronts and debris were reported. Several casualties were also reported in Changsuo township, Quluo township, and Cuoguo township in Dingri County.
