2025-01-09: Workers of the railway operator Ouigo have scheduled strikes from Friday (10 January) through Sunday (12 January) across the country.
Heightened security measures as well as disruptions to traffic and public life are to be expected. Violent clashes between protesters and security forces are possible. Travellers are advised to exercise caution, to strictly avoid demonstrations, road blockades, large gatherings, and deployments of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
