Update 2021-04-27 (3): The federal state of Brandenburg announced on Tuesday (27 April), that travellers who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are entering from a high incidence area no longer have to go into quarantine. This continues to apply to travellers from virus variant areas. Testing requirements also continue to apply.
Update 2021-04-27 (2): The federal state of Hesse also announced a similar regulation. With regard to shopping, visits to service providers and quarantine regulations, people whose vaccination dates back at least 14 days are to be treated the same as people with a current, negative test.
Update 2021-04-27 (1): As of Wednesday (28 April), people in the state of Bavaria who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be given the same status as people with a current negative test. Vaccinated persons thus no longer need to have a test done to visit some shops.
