Update 2021-08-24 (2): The compulsory testing for unvaccinated travellers applies to travel by plane, train, boat or long-distance bus within Greece.
Update 2021-08-24 (1): On Tuesday (24.08.) it was announced that from 13.09. unvaccinated travellers over twelve years of age must present a COVID rapid test, which must not be older than 48 hours. Children between the ages of five and twelve may take a self-test. Free on-site tests are then only available to people who have been vaccinated or are showing symptoms. Vaccination or proof of convalescence must be presented for entry to shops and entertainment venues. For theatres, cinemas and museums, unvaccinated persons need a rapid test, not older than 48 hours.
